Top’R Insulators for Steel T-posts and Round Conductors
The Top’R insulators listed below will handle any conductor including polyrope 3/8-inch in diameter and polytape up to 1.5 inches wide. Designed to fit over the tops of standard metal T-posts, they can be attached to wood posts by means of a nail driven straight down through the center of the insulator into the wood post. Available in white, black, and yellow.
Corner and End Insulators (Corner Knobs) for Round Conductors
Many T-post insulators are not well-suited to dealing with corners or terminating a run of the conductor. For these purposes it is convenient to use one of the corner knob insulators shown. All these insulators have two channels, one for a wire or cord used to attach the insulator to a post (any kind of post), and the other for carrying the conductor. To terminate polyrope or polywire, use one of these corner insulators in combination with a polyrope or polywire clamp (see products 08-06A and 08-12B). Use the economical corner knob 07-13 for polyrope, polywire, and wire where high durability, high-tensile strength, and white color are not needed. Use corner insulator 07-13A for places where you need high durability, high-tensile strength, or the ability to resist extremely low temperatures. And use corner insulator 07-68 where white color is desired and/or high-tensile strength is needed.
