Parmak Horse Surround (HS-100) Low Impedance Electric Fence Charger, UL Listed
Parmak’s HS-100 is useful on short horse fences where weeds ar not an issue. Voltage data: While this electric fence charger puts out 9600 volts on an open circuit, a minor weed burden offering a 500-ohm path to the ground will cut this voltage down to around the 2000 volt minimum needed on a horse fence to reliably shock horses. Other animals: Useful for containing and excluding dogs, cats, and small animals where one wishes to keep the electric fence charger’s power down. General data: The HS-100 features advanced solid-state circuitry, fuses for lightning protection, a flashing light that indicates when the electric fence charger and its immediate fence connections are working properly, and a one-year warranty against defects and lightning damage. The HS-100 must be installed in a clean, dry location protected from the weather. Instructions and mounting screws are included.
